Bioness overview

K.M Woods Physiotheraphy is working in association with Buchanan Orthotics and Bioness to allow our patients access to the Bioness L300 Drop Foot System. The NESS L300 is an advanced functional electrical stimulation (FES) - a wireless device that stimulates the muscles in the leg and foot via low level electrical impulses activated by a hand-held control device. The system is easy to use and once fitted with it, patients can wear it comfortably under most clothing and with most shoes. The NESS L300 benefits a range of patients.

The NESS L300 may help patients regain function for foot drop associated with:
• Stroke
• Traumatic brain injury
• Multiple sclerosis
• Cerebral palsy
• Incomplete spinal cord injury
